Hello ~
My name is Molly Sugar, yes that's my real name! For the past couple of years, I’ve been living in sunny Tucson, Arizona ~ soaking up the desert vibes and spending as much time outside as possible. Whether I’m camping, running, or biking (mountain, gravel, or bikepacking), being outdoors is my happy place.
One of my favorite ways to travel is by bike. Most recently, I rode from Seoul to Busan on a 7-day bike tour through South Korea, my home country.
By day, I’m a Senior Product Designer at The Dyrt, where we help people find great places to camp. Previously, I was the Lead Designer at Ride with GPS, an app & web platform for cycling route planning and navigation.
I’m also the co-founder of Radical Adventure Riders and Friends on Bikes ~ two grassroots communities focused on making cycling and the outdoors more inclusive and equitable.

Long distance bikepacking experience:
Western Wildlands Route
July 2019 to September 2019
Unsupported bikepacking tour on the Western Wildlands Route. WWR is a 2,700-mile long-distance epic route from the borders of Canada to Mexico on dirt, gravel, and rough 4x4 roads through Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona.
TransAmerica Trail
May 2016 to August 2016
Biked 4,250 miles over 74 days from Yorktown, Virginia to Florence, Oregon self-supported by Adventure Cycling Associations under 30-year-old group.
