Hello ~

I'm Molly Sugar (yes, that's my real name!), a freelance designer based in Tucson, Arizona.

I work across product design, illustration, publications, and brand collaborations with clients such as The Dyrt and previously led design at Ride with GPS. I also partner with organizations like The Wilderness Society to help raise awareness for public lands through creative campaigns.

I'm the co-founder of Radical Adventure Riders and Friends on Bikes, two grassroots communities focused on making cycling more inclusive.

Currently available for freelance projects. Want to collaborate? Let's chat!

Long distance bikepacking experience:

South Korea
Biketoured in Korea three times ~ riding inland from Seoul to Busan and along the East Coast from Sokcho to Pohang, and circled Jeju Island by bike. I created a Seoul to Busan zine to document the journey and remind others, especially fellow adoptees, that there is no right way to return. Your story, your path, and your pace are all valid.

Western Wildlands Route

July 2019 to September 2019
Unsupported bikepacking tour on the Western Wildlands Route. WWR is a 2,700-mile long-distance epic route from the borders of Canada to Mexico on dirt, gravel, and rough 4x4 roads through Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona. Wrote two articles for The Radavist about reflections about the border and public lands.

TransAmerica Trail

May 2016 to August 2016
Biked 4,250 miles over 74 days from Yorktown, Virginia to Florence, Oregon self-supported by Adventure Cycling Associations under 30-year-old group. Created a zine about the experience and donated proceeds to Bikes4Humanity in Portland, Oregon.
